Slap on the Hand for Embezzling in NYC

MANHATTAN (CN) - The former chief of staff for a New York City councilman was sentenced to probation for embezzling more than $160,000 from a charity. Asquith Reid was chief of staff for Brooklyn Councilman Kendall Stewart, though the U.S. Attorney's Office identified Stewart only as "a City Council member" in announcing Reid's slap on the hand.
