CHICAGO (CN) - Figure skater Chrissy Lipscomb and her parents claim an agent for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services falsely accused the parents of abusing her as a child, costing them to lose custody of their child. They claim the agent touched her improperly on numerous occasions and misrepresented his "investigation" of the family to a doctor and in court filings.
The Lipscombs sued Ivory Flucas as an individual, alleging emotional distress, false imprisonment, and battery upon the skater, who is now 18. The incidents in the complaint allegedly happened in 2001.
