Sikorsky Helicopters

WASHINGTON (CN) - Some Sikorsky S-92A helicopters are not being flown according to correct safety requirements, according to reports made to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Several of the 65 S-92As flown in the United States are using the less stringent safety limitations approved for nine-passenger helicopters, on helicopters with more seats.

The FAA plans to adopt a new airworthiness directive that the Rotorcraft Flight Manual must be clarified.
