SAN JOSE, Calif. - A federal judge dismissed a class action Friday alleging Walmart and other retailers conspired to force shoplifters to go through a $400 educational class to avoid prosecution. U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh said the plaintiffs lacked evidence.
