MANHATTAN — A possible U.S. Supreme Court reversal favoring former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell led a federal judge to postpone the date of surrender for New York's disgraced former assembly speaker, Sheldon Silver.

The order comes days after prosecutors granted similar relief to yet another Big Apple politician convicted of corruption, former New York Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos.
