Sheep Grazing

A federal court in Idaho ruled that the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station, operated by the USDA Agricultural Research Service, did not sufficiently examine the project’s effects on bighorn sheep and grizzly bears, and may not graze sheep on certain disputed areas of the Centennial Mountains until it completes a review.

BOISE, Idaho — A federal court in Idaho ruled that the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station, operated by the USDA Agricultural Research Service, did not sufficiently examine the project’s effects on bighorn sheep and grizzly bears, and may not graze sheep on certain disputed areas of the Centennial Mountains until it completes a review.
