Shareholder Class Action

Shareholders say Celgene Corp.'s $72 a share buyout offer for codefendant Pharmion Corp. is inadequate due to Pharmion's promising new cancer drugs. Also sued in Delaware Chancery Court are Patrick Mahaffy, Brian Atwood, James Blair, James Barrett, Cam Garner, Edward McKinley, John Reed, Thorlef Spickschen, and Cobalt Acquisition LLC.

Shareholders accuse ACA Capital Holdings and Alan Roseman of defrauding them through false and misleading statements in the IPO registration statement and prospectus, in Manhattan Federal Court.

Shareholders accuse Pzena Investment Management and Richard Pzena of defrauding them through false and misleading statements in the IPO registration statement and prospectus, in Manhattan Federal Court.

Shareholders accuse Netlist of lying on documents regarding its IPO. Also sued in Santa Ana Federal Court are Chun Hong, Christopher Lopes, Jayesh Bhakta, Paik Ki Hong, Nam Ki Hong, Thomas Lagatta, Alan Portnoy, David Rickey, Preston Romm, Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, and Needham & Co.

Shareholders claim the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. (Freddie Mac) and its directors defrauded them by inflating share price through false and misleading statements. Also sued in Manhattan Federal Court are Richard Syron, Patricia Cook, Anthony Piszel, and Eugene McQuade.

Shareholders claim China Expert Technology and its directors defrauded them by inflating share price through false and misleading statements. Also sued in Manhattan Federal Court are Zhu Xiaoxin, Huang Tao and Fu Chang.
