Shareholder Class Action

Verifone Holdings, Douglas Bergeron and Barry Zwarenstein defrauded shareholders by false and misleading statements, a class-action complaint claims in San Francisco Federal Court.

Shareholders accuse Virgin Mobile USA of inflating share price during its IPO by false and misleading statements. Also sued in Manhattan Federal Court are Daniel Schulman, Jonathan Marchbank, John Feehan, Frances Brandon-Farrow, Douglas Lynn, Mark Poole, Robert Samuelson, L. Kevin Cox, Thomas Ryder, Kenneth Steven, Lehman Bros., Merrill Lynch & Co., Bear Stearns & Co., Raymond James & Assoc., and Thomas Weisel Partners LLC.
