Shareholder Class Action

Shareholders claim Gemstar-TV Guide is selling itself too cheaply to Macrovision Corp., for $2.8 billion, or $6.35 per share. Also sued in Delaware Chancery Court are Richard Battista, Anthea Disney, Peter Chernin, David Devoe, Nicholas Donatiello Jr., James Meyer, Rupert Murdoch, Ruthann Quindlen, and James O'Shaughnessy.

Shareholders claim Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance inflated share price during its Oct. 25 IPO through misrepresentations and concealment. Also sued in Chicago Federal Court are Lyn Kirby, Gregg Bodnar and Bruce Barkus.
