Shareholder Class Action

Shareholders accuse Huntington Bancshares of exposing itself to $1.5 billion in losses in subprime mortgages and keeping shareholders in the dark about it until the annual report came out, whacking the share price. See complaint in Columbus, Ohio, Federal Court.

Shareholders accuse Bright Horizons Family Solutions of selling itself too cheaply to Bain Capital Partners. Also sued in Middlesex County Court, Cambridge, Mass., are Linda Mason, Robert Brown, David Lissy, Mary Ann Tocio, Marguerite Kondacke, Joshua Bekenstein, Fred Foulkes, Ian Rolland, Joanne Brandes, Townes Duncan, Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot, David Gergen, and Gabrielle Greene.

Shareholders accuse Centerline Holding Co. of inflating its share price through false and misleading statements. Also sued in Manhattan Federal Court are Marc Schnitzer, Robert Levy, Jeff Blau, and Stephen Ross.

Shareholders accuse Performance Food Group Co. of selling itself too cheaply to The Blackstone Group, Wellspring Capital Management, and Vista Corp. Also sued in Davidson County Chancery Court, Nashville, are Robert Sledd, Steven Spinner, Charles Adair, Mary Doswell, Fred Goad Jr., Timothy Graven, and John Stokely.
