Shareholder Class Action

Officers of National City Corp. issued misleading press releases about the company's exposure to subprime real estate losses, while dumping their own shares for more then $31 million at inflated prices, shareholders claim in Cuyahoga County Court, Cleveland.

Shareholders claim Charles Schwab & Co. defrauded them by omitting material facts that would show that Schwab's funds' assets were artificially inflated, in San Francisco Federal Court.
