Shareholder Class Action

Wachovia officers and directors abused their positions by wasting, diverting and misappropriating Wachovia's corporate assets, a shareholder derivative complaint claims in Manhattan Federal Court.

GT Solar International failed to disclose that its biggest customer, LDK Solar Co., had stopped ordering from the company more than three months before issuing a financial report, a class action claims in New Hampshire Federal Court.

Zimmer Holdings, David Dvorak and James Crines concealed flaws in the company's Durom Cup, used in hip replacements, causing an artificial inflation of stock prices, shareholders claim in Indianapolis Federal Court. When the news broke, stock prices plummeted, and Zimmer had to yank the Durom Cup from the U.S. market.
