Shareholder Class Action

Oshkosh Corp. inflated its share price through false and misleading statements and CEO Robert Bohn sold $5.7 million worth of stock options at those inflated prices, shareholders claim in Milwaukee Federal Court. A similar complaint has been filed in Atlanta Federal Court against Carter's, which acquired Oshkosh in 2005.

Constellation Energy Group sold itself too cheaply to MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co., Constellation shareholders claim in Baltimore City Court.

First Trust Advisors, Valhalla Capital Partners and others violated securities laws by pushing collateralized debt obligations tied to shaky, subprime mortgages, a class action claims in Chicago Federal Court. Also sued are Hillard Lyons Asset Management, First Trust Portfolios, First Trust Strategic High Income Fund, First Trust Strategic High Income Fund II, First Trust Strategic High Income Fund III, James A. Bowen, Mark R. Bradley, Richard E. Erickson, Thomas R. Kadlec, Robert F. Keith, Neil B. Nielson, and David M. Oster.
