Shareholder Class Action

Goldman Sachs sold Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates and Asset-Backed Certificates of GS Mortgage Securities Corp. through false and misleading statements in 2005 and 2006, a class action claims in Manhattan Federal Court.

The Public Employees' Retirement System of Mississippi sued these defendants: Goldman Sachs Group Inc.; Goldman Sachs Mortgage Co.; GS Mortgage Securities Corp.; Goldman Sachs & Co.; McGraw-Hill Companies Inc.; Moody's Investor Service Inc.; Fitch Inc.; Daniel Sparks; Mark Weiss; Joanthan Sobel; GSAA Home Equity Trust 2006-2; GSAA Home Equity Trust 2006-3; and GSAA Home Equity Trust 2006-S2.
