Wong has been president of the group since 2002.
Five deputies, suing on behalf of the Association, say Wong has conspired to commit mail fraud, wire fraud and racketeering since he took office. They also sued former Treasurers Michael Zehner and Brian Savage and current Treasurer Shedrick McDaniels.
Zehner was treasurer from January 2002 until April 15, 2006; Savage from April 15, 2006 until April 15, 2008; and McDaniels since then.
Plaintiffs claim Wong and McDaniels conspired to deduce $27 in union dues from each member each month, totaling $67,500, for his own benefit or that of others who were not entitled to it.
They claim Wong and Zehner misappropriated $213,367 for Wong or others.
They claim Wong and Zehner misappropriated $18,893 for Wong’s mortgage payments, and that Wong’s mortgage on his personal home requires payments of $14,691 a month.
They claim Wong and Zehner misappropriated $198,978 that was to be set aside to buy a building for the Association.
These allegations come from the first 10 pages of the 35-page complaint. The plaintiffs are represented by Paul Kranz.
