Sexual violence protections

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal court in San Francisco granted the U.S. Department of Education’s request to dismiss the Women’s Student Union’s suit asking it to set aside Trump-era regulations that reduced federal sexual harassment and violence protections for public school students. The court ruled the plaintiff failed to establish standing but granted it leave to amend the complaint.
