Sexual harassment in courts

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Caryn Strickland, who testified before Congress about the unfairness of how the federal judiciary handles workplace sexual harassment cases, lost her suit over the matter in a North Carolina federal court. The judge’s 285-page opinion was not unsympathetic to her claims, however, as the ruling ends with a meditation on three proposed reforms to challenge the “ho-hum attitude” toward sexual harassment among employees of the judiciary.
