Sexual assault of 3-year-old

SCRANTON, Penn. — A federal court in Pennsylvania allowed a mother’s claims to proceed against the school district where her 3-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by classmates during recess at an elementary school in 2021. She says officials failed to respond appropriately. Her testimony created factual disputes about whether the playground was adequately supervised and whether administrators were deliberately indifferent to repeated reports of a sexual assault.
