SEATTLE (CN) - A national sex chat line says it's losing business because anonymous callers are leaving introductory messages promoting a competing service.
Mobilejam claims the fake messages were left on its Phonesexchatline, Friendsation and Talk121, according to a complaint in King County Court.
A typical message is left by an unidentified woman who wants "to meet nice guys" and leaves the phone number of another chat line, the complaint states. Mobilejam says the messages give wrong caller identification numbers to conceal the caller's identity.
Mobilejam accuses the unknown callers of tortious interference and violating consumer laws. It seeks injunctive relief. It is represented by Christopher Thayer with Larson Hart.
