BROOKLYN (CN) - A married woman says a Roman Catholic priest sexually approached her after she confessed to him, and persuaded her to have a sexual affair.
But which she broke off after he told her he had a sexually transmitted disease he had caught from someone else.
The woman claims that after her first confession to Fr. Elvis Elano, at Our Lady of the Snows, he "immediately began courting the plaintiff and encouraging her to engage in a sexual liaison with him to assist her with overcoming her pain associated with her husband and because it was 'ordained by God.'"
Elano ordered Viagra over the Internet for their affair, which included videotaping, and which continued until Elano told her "that he developed a rash in his groin and legs and believed it was from his sexual liaisons with others," she claims in Kings County Court.
She demands $25 million from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, Our Lady of the Snows and Elano. She is represented by Andrew Laufer.
