Sewage in Drinking Water, Feds Say

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (CN) - The town of Fort Gay is letting its broken-down sewage pump stations discharge raw, untreated sewage into streams from which the town gets its drinking water, the U.S. EPA claims in Federal Court. The government demands civil penalties and an injunction ordering Fort Gay to comply with the Clean Water Act.
