Settlement

Wing Lok “Walter” Wong, a permit expediter who pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in a corruption scandal, agreed in a civil settlement to pay San Francisco the $1.45 million that he or his companies received from the city through non-competitive procurements. The settlement also prohibits Wong from doing business with the city for five years.

SAN FRANCISCO — Wing Lok “Walter” Wong, a permit expediter who pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in a corruption scandal, agreed in a civil settlement to pay San Francisco the $1.45 million that he or his companies received from the city through noncompetitive procurements. The settlement also prohibits Wong from doing business with the city for five years.
