WASHINGTON (CN) - In response to the USA Patriot Act, S 2434 would "clarify conditions for the interceptions of computer trespass communications under the USA-PATRIOT Act;" and S 2435 would "limit authority to delay notice of search warrants." Both amendments to the Patriot Act were submitted by Sen. Russell Feingold, D-Wisc.
S 2426, by Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., would "provide for congressional oversight of United States agreements with the Government of Iraq."
S 2422, by Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., would "prohibit certain computer-assisted remote hunting."
On the other side of the aisle, S 2409, by Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., would "direct the Architect of the Capitol to ensure that the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and the national motto In God We Trust are each displayed prominently in the Capitol Visitor Center on a permanent basis and to prohibit the Architect from removing or refusing to include language or other content from exhibits and materials relating to the Capitol Visitor Center on the grounds that the language or content includes a religious reference or Judeo-Christian content."
