Securities Recidivist Just Couldn’t Quit

SAN DIEGO (CN) – A 66-year-old woman pleaded guilty to defrauding 68 people of $2 million by promising up to 90% monthly returns in her Crystal Rose and Sterling Rose Capitalization Programs, federal prosecutors said.
Clementine Estrada, a securities recidivist who ran the scam out of Escondido, also admitted she obstructed justice and violated an SEC order telling her not to do such things anymore.
