Securities Fraud

The SEC claims in federal court that Suneet Singal, 41, of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and his companies First Capital Real Estate Trust Inc., (and two similarly named companies) lied about owning 12 hotels to raise $15 million from investors, of which he <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Securities-fraud-4.pdf">misappropriated more than $2 million</a>.

MANHATTAN — The SEC claims in a federal complaint that Suneet Singal, 41, of El Dorado Hills, Calif., First Capital Real Estate Trust Inc., and two similarly named companies lied about owning 12 hotels to raise $15 million from investors, of which he misappropriated more than $2 million.
