Second chance for formerly incarcerated dad

LINCOLN, Neb. — An appeals court in Nebraska reversed the termination of a father’s parental rights over his daughter. The mere fact he was incarcerated cannot be the sole basis for termination, as the man has since completed victim impact and community college classes, parenting courses and an outpatient program on emotional intelligence and social reintegration.
