WASHINGTON (CN) – The Securities and Exchange Commission has re-proposed certain rules initially proposed in April 2010 related to asset-backed securities, in light of requirements in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The agency has crafted new regulations proposing registrant and transaction requirements related to shelf registration of asset-backed securities and changes to exhibit filing deadlines. The agency also is requesting additional comments on a proposal to require asset-level information about the pool assets. Click the document icon for this regulation and others.
