SEC gets Ponzi scheme cash back

BROOKLYN — A federal judge awarded more than $2.7 million in disgorgement to the Securities and Exchange Commission from a group of securities brokers who played a role in a Ponzi scheme that defrauded more than 5,000 investors of a total of more than $415 million.
