SEC Charges Sunwest With Securities Fraud

PORTLAND, Ore. (CN) - The Securities and Exchange Commission charged Oregon-based Sunwest Management with securities fraud, claiming it cheated investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars by lying about its operations and hiding risky investments. The SEC seeks a federal court order freezing the real-estate company's assets.
