SAN DIEGO (CN) - The City of San Diego, its Mayor Jerry Sanders and the State of California are illegally trying to evict seals from Children's Pool Beach in La Jolla, the Animal Protection and Rescue League claims in Federal Court. Seals have babies at the beach. The League says it's spent $40,000 this year protecting the seals; it wants the area roped off and protected. See complaint.
