Scott Pruitt’s Reign

A federal judge ordered the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to produce documents demanded by the Sierra Club regarding 25 employees appointed by President Donald Trump or former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt, who have a history of close ties with industries regulated by EPA, industry advocacy groups, or anti-environmental politicians or political groups — relationships that raise grave concerns about conflicts of interests and the ability of polluting industries to disproportionately influence EPA policy.
