WASHINGTON (CN) – The D.C. Circuit barred former White House aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby from practicing law in the nation’s capital after his perjury conviction for lying to the FBI about the outing of ex-CIA operative Valerie Plame. “When a member of the bar is convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude, disbarment is mandatory,” the court ruled.
