A group of private schools and parents filed an original petition in the Wisconsin Supreme Court challenging the Madison and Dane County public health director's last-minute emergency order prohibiting in-person classes for students in grades 3 through 12, claiming the order is beyond the authority of "one unelected bureaucrat."
