Scalpers Clean Up At Oscars

LOS ANGELES (CN) - In an annual rite, the Academy of Motion Pictures claims scalpers illegally sold over the Internet high-priced tickets to the Oscars. The Academy claims that both those companies sold tickets to unknown buyers. In addition to charging unfair prices, the Academy claims that these scalpers and others create a security problem, as the purchasers could threaten the safety of celebrities.
