Save the Caribou

The Center for Biological Diversity brought a <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Caribou.pdf">federal complaint</a></strong> over the government's failure to timely issue a final rule listing the Southern Mountain caribou as threatened or endangered and designate a habitat for them: There are no such caribou in the Lower 48 states, and Canada has taken the few remaining caribou into captivity to protect them.

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Center for Biological Diversity brought a federal complaint over the government’s failure to timely issue a final rule listing the Southern Mountain caribou as threatened or endangered and designate a habitat for them: There are no such caribou in the Lower 48 states, and Canada has taken the few remaining caribou into captivity to protect them.
