Saudi Aramco immune

DALLAS — A former Saudi Arabian Oil Company employee’s lawsuit against his former employer was dismissed by a Texas federal court. He argued that Aramco fraudulently promised to provide him employment documents in wrongful termination proceedings in Saudi Arabia, but never provided the documents. His claims are barred by the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, as the state-owned firm qualifies as a foreign state under the law.
