Santa Barbara Cruise|Ships to Get Safety Zone

WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Coast Guard wants to establish a 100-yard no-go zone around cruise ships visiting Santa Barbara Harbor, Calif.

The Coast Guard says the security zone is needed to protect cruise ships, vessels and the port from potential terrorist acts because of the number of passengers they carry.
