Samsung Suit Dismissed

A federal judge dismissed a class action in which consumers claimed that the resale value of Galaxy smartphones declined because Samsung infringed patents held by Apple.

SAN JOSE — U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh dismissed with prejudice a second amended class action against Samsung Electronics, in which consumers claimed that the resale value of Galaxy smartphones declined because Samsung infringed patents held by Apple.
