The EPA dropped its appeal of a decision that found the Redwood City Salt Ponds are protected U.S. waters. The federal agency under the Trump administration had attempted to remove Clean Water Act protections for the salt ponds.

SAN FRANCISCO — The EPA dropped its appeal of a decision that found the Redwood City Salt Ponds are protected U.S. waters. The federal agency under the Trump administration had attempted to remove Clean Water Act protections for the salt ponds.
