RR Workplace Safety|Rules to Be Clarified

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Federal Railroad Administration plans to clarify workplace safety regulations.

FRA amendments to the Roadway Worker Protection regulation would be to define certain terms, establish new procedures for snow removal and cleaning on passenger station platforms, resolve miscellaneous interpretive issues, and codify certain FRA Technical Bulletins.

The FRA also seeks comments on certain training requirements for roadway workers.
