OAKLAND, Calif. – A California judge on Thursday approved a sick San Francisco Bay Area couple’s request to fast-track a trial on claims Monsanto’s popular weed killer Roundup caused their cancers.

Alameda County Superior Court Judge Ioana Petrou set a trial date for March 2019, following a hearing this month into plaintiff Alberta Pilliod’s declining health.
