Roundup on Cotton

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Environmental Protection Agency will allow residues of glyphosate to persist on cotton gin byproducts at 210 parts per million. Gylphosate is the most commonly used herbicide in the United States, sold under trade names such as Roundup, Razor Pro, Genesis Extra II and Aquaneat.

The herbicide frequently is used on crops that have been genetically modified to be immune to glyphosates, so that it can be applied to weeds and crop alike.
