Roundtail Chub

A federal court in Arizona ruled that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service improperly withdrew a proposed rule to protect the lower Colorado River basin roundtail chub as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. The agency failed to show why the taxonomic revision of the fish required it to deny protection.

The agency failed to show why the taxonomic revision of the fish required it to deny protection.
