(CN) - Paula Rosenstein has been appointed to the San Diego County Superior Court by California Gov. Jerry Brown.
Rosenstein, 52, a Democrat from San Diego, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego and her juris doctorate from the University of San Diego, School of Law. She began her law career as an associate attorney at Richard Prochazka APC in 1987.
That same year, she moved to Rosenstein Shpall and Associates, serving as an associate attorney until 1991. She practiced privately beginning in 1991 until becoming a shareholder at Rosenstein Wilson and Dean PLC, where she has worked since 1997. She fills a vacancy created by retiring Judge Linda Quinn.
She will earn an annual salary of $178,789.
