Rolling Stone Says UVA Admin Leaked Videos

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Attorneys for Rolling Stone are accusing a University of Virginia administrator of leaking deposition videos to a television network to support her lawsuit over her portrayal in a discredited article about rapes on campus.

Local news organizations report that the magazine filed an emergency motion on Monday in its legal battle with administrator Nicole Eramo, accusing her of leaking video to ABC's "20/20."

Eramo's lawsuit says she was cast as a villain in the since-retracted article, and her lawyer, Libby Locke, says the depositions have already been made public through court filings.

But Rolling Stone's lawyers say that if the broadcast airs this week, just days before the trial is to begin on Oct. 17, the judge should postpone the trial to avoid "improperly" influencing the jury pool.
