MANHATTAN (CN) - A co-founder of Jay Z's Roc-a-Fella Records pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to distribute more than 100 kilograms of marijuana.
Kareem Burke aka Biggs, 38, faces at least five years in prison.
Under his plea agreement, Burke must also forfeit $660,000, his residence in North Bergen, N.J., $15,000 cash seized from his residence, and his 2010 BMW.
U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain will deliver the sentence on May 18, 2012, at noon.
Burke was arrested along with at least 50 people in late 2010 as authorities brought down three separate but interconnected marijuana trafficking cells. At least 10 have entered guilty pleas to date.
Much of the groups' marijuana originated in Florida, but prosecutors say Burke obtained some of his product from California growers.
Officers who searched Burke's New Jersey home allegedly located the remains of a marijuana-growing operation.
