Robert Mitchum’s Son Sues Dollywood Partner

KNOXVILLE (CN) - Dollywood Amusement Park is profiting from a "Thunder Road" ride without permission, Robert Mitchum's son claims in Federal Court. James Mitchum says he owns rights to the "Thunder Road" trademark, from his dad's 1958 movie.

Mitchum sued Herschend Family Entertainment Corp., managing general partner of Dollywood. He is represented by Andrew Colocotronis with Baker, Donelson & Bearman.
