Roadside Zoo

The owner and manager of a Wisconsin roadside zoo are banned from owning or exhibiting animals other than the dogs that are their personal pets and may not work with any business that does so, a federal court in Wisconsin ruled. The Animal Legal Defense Fund sued the zoo for mistreating animals, including two endangered tigers.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The owner and manager of a Wisconsin roadside zoo are banned from owning or exhibiting animals other than the dogs that are their personal pets and may not work with any business that exhibits animals, a federal court in Wisconsin ruled. The Animal Legal Defense Fund sued the zoo for mistreating animals, including two endangered tigers.
