RNC Challenges Soft Money Regulations

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Republican National Committee sued the Federal Election Commission, claiming "soft money" regulations of § 101 of the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 is unconstitutional. The challenged section - 2 U.S.C. § 441i - regulates state parties' ability to solicit, receive and spend money.
