BOSTON (CN) McKesson Corp. and First DataBank fraudulently inflated the wholesale mark-up price of hundreds of prescription drugs, according to a RICO antitrust class action in Federal Court. Plaintiffs say McKesson distributes about 30 percent of "all pharmaceuticals in the United States," reporting more than $100 billion in revenue this year.
Lead plaintiff the City of Panama City, Fla. demands treble damages for racketeering, antitrust violations, and other charges. Its lead counsel is Mitchell Matorin of Needham, Mass.
